Pelosi’s speech, livened up!

Sometimes it’s nice to take a step back, breathe, and have a good laugh. Enter Stinson, his surprising header photo, and the sarcastic commentary he’s added the Pelosi crap sandwich she gave the House today before the bailout vote.

Note to anyone who might ever want to persuade: deriding the very people whose support you desire doesn’t usually end well.

of course, if that’s all it took for the republicans to vote no, then they vote on emotion and not on what is best for the country. i’m sure this comes as a big shock to you that they would ever vote on emotion and not on what is best for you and i.

@Larissa Westerfield: Did I say anything about this being the sole reason they voted no? Pelosi’s a loon, let’s get that straight. But if you take a look as my previous posts, you’ll see that I’m against the bailout. I’d give a running chest bump to any of the 95 Democrats who voted against this as well. Our congressional leaders were getting enough calls to completely tie up the phone lines and an email load that crashed the servers to the tune of 10 to 1 against this thing. The American people were against it, and the House was clearly split over it. I can only hope they’ll do the same again tomorrow when the next vote on the Bailout Plus Pork version comes to a vote.

P.S. Your rhetoric continues to imply that you assume I’m a hard-lined Republican. Do you skip reading the post on your way to leave a good zinger in the comments box? Your typically fiery political comments do imply that you’re a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat, but just because you are, don’t assume that everyone else is so partisan.
